TOP HIDDEN FEATURES OF THE SAMSUNG GALAXY S8

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is an Android lover’s dream! Its intricate design sets itself apart from the rest. Sorry iPhone lovers, but one cannot deny the craftsmanship that went into creating the Samsung Galaxy S8. For you Galaxy lovers, I do have some insights on hidden features you might not know about, so grab your favorite Starbucks coffee and read on...
☕
Let’s all agree the Galaxy S8 is pretty awesome, and also Samsung’s top headliner right now although the Galaxy Note 8 might give it a run for the top spot. The Galaxy (no, not Star Wars although the S8 is as cool as the Millennium Falcon) will come down to functional preferences. The LSD is strong within you my friend; a little humor just in case the coffee wasn’t doing the trick.
The question to ask is, could the S8 very well restore confidence in buyers after the Samsung battery disaster? The S8 is selling very well, let see if it can be the top Android beating out the likes of Google and HTC. The S8 comes with a sleek shape that fits right into the palm of your hand. The 5.8-inch screen comes with a colorful display that encompass the entire phone.
One of the chief complaints with the S8 design, is the relocated fingerprint reader. Previously found on the home button with the S7's front face, to a narrow strip on the back of the S8. I do not understand the logic behind such a placement, I would definitely say that the placement is annoying, and has been a complaint among users.

THE EPIC BATTLE OF BIXBY V. SIRI

Bixby is the feature similar to Apple’s Siri that's actually broken into three different distinctive parts: Home, Voice, and Vision. It does not replace Google voice search or Google Assistant, which comes pre-loaded on the S8 and which you can enact by long-pressing the home button. Bixby has only been launched in South Korea, so hopefully we will get the opportunity to judge this epic rivalry.

TWO BIXBY FEATURES YOU TEST NOW

Bixby Home or Hello Bixby, is similar to Google Now for other Android phones. There are cards for the weather, upcoming appointments, your step count, etc. I'm not sure if it adds much value beyond Google Now. Bixby Vision is a camera filter similar to Google Goggles. You can use it to scan words on a business card or package of food and translate it into 52 different languages, with varying results, pretty awesome I should say. It can identify a book cover, landmark location or a bottle of wine through partner Vivino, a feature that worked for some bottles, but for all bottles is yet to be seen.

S8 Camera Quality
The S8 doesn’t come with a dual camera similar to its rival iPhone, however photos on the S8's single 12-megapixel are consistently good. Dim light shots are relatively bright and detailed, and selfies on the 8-megapixel front-facing camera are also selfie-perfect. The S8 is also equipped with auto focus, giving your hand free ability to get all the right angles.
